About Rachel

A one-size-fits-all approach is no way to go about therapy. Rachel's methods are as unique as her clients: she draws on a range of evidence-based practices to address what each person is actually facing, and works collaboratively to find what helps her clients reach their goals and live their lives to the fullest.

She creates a safe space for clients who are used to holding it together for everyone else - guiding them toward the life they have always envisioned for themselves rather than the one they feel obligated to maintain. Many of her clients are high achievers who want to better manage their anxiety and mood, work through addiction, or navigate the emotional toll of fertility challenges.

Rachel opened her private practice in 2021 and expanded it into a group practice in July 2023, bringing on exceptional therapists who share her collaborative, evidence-based approach. Alongside individual work, she has facilitated group therapy for years - grief groups, relationship groups, sober living groups, and more - and as a Certified Group Psychotherapist she has trained extensively in what makes groups genuinely helpful. Before founding the practice she was a clinician and clinical supervisor at a group psychotherapy practice focused on millennial-aged clients, and she continues to supervise clinicians and graduate social work interns today.

How Rachel Works

An integrative, collaborative approach built from four evidence-based modalities:

CBT

Cognitive behavioral therapy to untangle the thought patterns behind anxiety, low mood, and self-criticism.

DBT

Dialectical behavior therapy skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and steadier relationships.

Psychodynamic

Exploring how childhood experiences may still be shaping your life - and loosening their grip.

Motivational Interviewing

A collaborative way through ambivalence - especially powerful in addiction recovery work.

What Clients Say

"Rachel was very professional and easy to talk to. I felt immediately comfortable speaking with her in just the first session. My anxiety and trauma is something that I am very private about. She made me feel at ease and taught me some useful coping techniques that have really helped since my visit. I plan on revisiting and would highly recommend seeing her for a number of therapeutic needs."
