I believe that a one-size-fits-all approach is no way to go about therapy. My methods are as unique as my clients. I typically incorporate a variety of evidence based practices to best address the problems each of my clients are facing. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and a psychodynamic approach, exploring childhood and how events that happened in childhood may be impacting your life today. I truly value working with clients in a collaborative way, helping them to find what works best to reach their goals and help them live their lives to the fullest.

A bit of background about me:

I earned my undergraduate degree at New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study. My concentration was focused on studying psychology and the arts.

I went on to earn my master of social work (MSW) degree at Columbia University School of Social Work where I studied advanced clinical social work.

In addition to individual therapy, I have been facilitating a number of different types of group therapy for years; from grief groups to relationship issues groups, sober living groups to pandemic loneliness groups, and many other types. I am currently a certified group psychotherapist (CGP) and member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, where I have had extensive training on providing quality group therapy. I love working with my clients both in individual and group settings. I find both to be incredibly beneficial in different and complementary ways.

I went on to work at a group psychotherapy practice focused on helping millennial aged people cope with all types of mental health issues and life stressors. While there, I was a clinician and a clinical supervisor. I supervised clinicians earning hours towards becoming fully licensed.

I opened my private practice in 2021 where I specialize in treating adults who are experiencing fertility issues, addiction, and general mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. I expanded to a group practice in July 2023, bringing on LMSWs who are exceptional therapists. It has been a joy and honor to work in private practice.
