Gabriella Giordano, LMSW
I am so glad you are here! I believe therapy should be a collaborative, supportive space where you feel truly seen and understood. I earned both my Master of Social Work and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University, where I developed a passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges with curiosity and compassion.
As a psychotherapist, I take a strengths-based and relational approach, meeting you where you are and tailoring our work together to what feels most helpful for you. I have experience working with children, adults, and families, supporting people through trauma, anxiety, relationship and family issues, parenting, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. My work is trauma-informed, and I often integrate elements of Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you gain insight and create meaningful change.
I approach therapy with cultural humility and the belief that we are always learning and growing. This helps me show up with authenticity, and to view our work together as a collaboration built on trust and respect.
