The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know you and understand what has brought you to therapy.
During this session, your therapist will conduct a full biopsychosocial assessment, which means we will ask a range of questions to better understand your life experiences, background, and current concerns. This may include topics that might not naturally come up right away, but help us gain a more complete picture so we can best support you.
Together, you will begin identifying goals and determining what direction feels most helpful moving forward. It is also a space for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether the therapist feels like the right fit for you.

Clients come in with different goals. Some prefer short-term therapy and some prefer long-term. Your therapist will check in with you on an ongoing basis to make sure you are working towards those goals together in a way that works for you.
Our therapists typically meet with clients on a weekly basis, unless financial concerns or treatment goals indicate otherwise. Consistency helps build momentum and allows for deeper progress. Over time, session frequency can be adjusted depending on your needs and goals.

We ask that you give us 48 hours notice for cancellations and rescheduling requests to avoid being charged for the session. The late cancellation fee is $150.
